“Once upon a time, it is said that "Anon fish" is a fish that has existed since the creation of the new world. It carries a very heavy burden because it is tasked to carry the weight of the world. Anon fish have a large and imposing body that is immeasurable.”
This exhibition explores the tale of the Anon fish in Thai literature through ceramic works and digital illustrations. The work addresses the state of our current world, in which our natural system is pushed out of balance as affected by the altered condition of our city.

About the artist
Korrawit began his artistic career after studying urban design and Development at Thammasart University and Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts at Silpakorn University. He then moved back to Lamphun to work with his family’s ceramic factory, Chuanlhong Ceramic.
Growing up, he was surrounded by traditional motifs and ceramic-making. This, combined with his interest in character designs, led him to work with a hybrid practice that spans ceramic and digital art to explore stories of current events tied into mythical characters from Thai literature and cyberpunk elements. His work explores the problems of the contemporary city's physical and social problems affecting the literary characters.
He is currently developing a work style in ceramic materials, using vibrant crackled colored glazes, brain crawl glaze with bizarre effects and textures, and shape forms reproduced from illustration work.
